Thomson Private Wealth is dedicated
to helping High Net Worth families
build and preserve their wealth
throughout the generations.

about Us

We specialise in meeting the wealth management needs of families who have created significant capital, or who earn higher incomes, and whose circumstances are therefore more complicated than most. All our costs and charges are fully transparent and competitive, whilst we believe SJP’s performance management is rigorous and industry-leading.

We provide a Multi-Family Office approach which includes a full spectrum of wealth services from investment management through to tax efficient structuring, succession planning, pensions, access to specialist lending & protection, philanthropy and access to cash management facilities.

We help our clients to create a structured financial plan with the aim of mitigating income, capital gains and Inheritance Tax within the parameters of their individual circumstances. Whether clients want to grow their wealth or receive a regular income, we aim to help them obtain the best possible net returns on their capital in relation to their tolerance to risk and investment objectives.

We also place a strong emphasis on estate planning, in particular ensuring as far as possible, that family assets are protected against third party claims.

We have worldwide experience with clients who hold assets across multiple jurisdictions, and we are able to accommodate non-domiciled UK residents by using Guernsey or Dublin for offshore custody.

Thomson Private Wealth is a Partner Practice of St. James’s Place, in particular we work closely with their High Net Worth Private Client division.

The value of an investment with St. James’s Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.

The levels and bases of taxation and reliefs from taxation can change at any time. The value of any tax relief depends on individual circumstances.
